To fix this, you will need to connect a USB stick with (only) the latest Firmware it to the Kenwood system, then turn on the radio to reinstall the Firmware:

1. Download the latest Firmware for your Device:
2. Format a USB Stick
3. Unpack the Firmware and copy only the files onto the Stick (not the Folder with the Files)
4. Put the Stick on the Radio
5. Turn the Radio on and watch the Firmware will be loaded on to the system.

Tried that and did not work, it did not upload the firmware. Still have same message.
