Customer Question

2013 F150 satellite radio intermittent signal issues.
Seems that it cant acquire signal in the morning. truck sits outside. often with dew in the morning. i've read that this is often an antenna issue (moisture/corrosion over time). i reset radio with no improvement. i've had this truck for 3yrs, and had not experienced any signal issues until recently. radio seems to be able to easily acquire signal later in my 35 min commute, and in afternoon (bakes in sun/parking lot all day).

Thanks for replying back to me. You were offline when I responded earlier.

The antenna connection may indeed have some corrosion.

To fix this, try removing the satellite antenna cord from the rear of the radio, clean off any corrosion, and firmly reattach it again.

Let me know if there is any improvement?
