I'm trying to install a new Kenwood cd with usb and mp3

Customer Question

I'm trying to install a new Kenwood cd with usb and mp3 player into my 95 Mustang gt it already has an after market harness coming from the car but the plug coming from it wouldn't work so I cut &spliced all the wires and hooked them up to the new plug provided that plugs up into the back of cd player and still won't work.but there is a catch my antenna cable that hooks up to the cd player is messed up so would this cause it not to work?

Greetings...... “Hi, I’m Don (aka MOLurch) and I look forward to helping you!”
Please post the Model Number of the New Radio
IF you are saying the Unit does NOT light up / No Display, then you do not have a good Ground or there is NO Voltage + on the RED or YELLOW wires
IF you are saying the Unit lights up, has sound, but no stations, then that would be the Antenna
