Mitsubishi Montero Sport: I have a 2002 montero sport. Bought

Customer Question

I have a 2002 montero sport. Bought used 1 mo ago. Car cut off twice. First time had battery and starter replaced. Now it is doing the same. The dealer I bought it from never gave me a remote key. I was wondering if it is a problem with the anti theft system?

Hi there,You can have a car dealer temporarily disable the anti-theft system for you. If the car no longer cuts off then this will prove that the anti-theft system has a fault.
