Customer Question

I have a 1996 Corvette with a clifford alarm system on it.
How can I dis arm or dis conect the system, it keeps going off unexpectedly. Now I can't even shut it off.
It won't reset itself when I start the car so I had to dis connect the battery in order to stop the alarm.

sorry for the delay............
Greetings...... “Hi, I’m Don (akaCustomer and I look forward to helping you!”
Not knowing the exact Clfford Model Number puts us at a disadvantage......
Locate the Clifford Main Box. (Typically under Driver Dash)
IF you cannot locate, follow the Alarm Horn wire or LED (if there is one) to the Main Box
Follow each wire from the Main Box to the Factory wire it is connected to.
Disconnect & insulate / tape each Factory wire open splice.
Careful at the Ignition or Starter wire connections, as some Cliffords used a Internal Relay & some use a External Relay, where the Factory Starter wire or Ignition wires were cut in half.
You would need to splice the Factory wires back together & Insulate / tape.
