How to reset a KARR alarm system?

Depending on Model of the KARR:

Unlocking Doors with Remote, should Disarm

 

No Remote:

Be sure Battery is fully charged
Should be a Valet Switch under dash, or in vacinity
Turn Ignition On & press & hold Valet switch for appr 5 seconds

start car

OR
Disconnect Positive Battery Cable
Open Driver Door & LEAVE Open
Turn Ignition to On position & LEAVE On

Reconnect Positive Battery Cable
Alarm may sound for a few seconds
Start vehicle.

How do I reset a KARR alarm system? The car was sitting for about 8 months and the battery went dead, I charged the battery and the engine will crank but will not start. The lock and un-lock feature of the alarm works properly?
