If the tuner is installed you can switch to XM source and tune to channel 1 or 0 and the radio ID number will scroll across the radio display.

How do I know if the tuner is installed? How do I switch to XM source?
Push the AM button on the factory radio twice to see if the sattelite radio comes up. If not then there is no tuner present and you would have to have one installed.

I see the xm radio, but no number comes up.
Does the radio have an XM button or does it display the XM after pressing the AM button a few times?
