We recently had Armstrong Moving and Storage ,630 Secretariat Ct , Mississauga, move us from Mississauga to Niagara Falls.Our contract was for the following services:
Transportation based on 12.510 LBS $3,842.66
Packing and Unpacking service $3,234.64
$150,000 full preplacement Valuation Insurance $515.85
3rd Party to service crate and uncrate pool table $1,663.20I even clarified with Lisa Ball via email what was included in the packing/unpacking process:----- Forwarded Message -----

ThanksLisaThe morning of the actual move Dec 17 th 2021(everything was already loaded on the moving van Dec16th) I received a call from Lisa Ball of Armstrong moving informing me that the weight was 18,000 lbs and I owed $1,300.00 I was shocked, she told me if it was not paid there would be NO DELIVERY and she was NOT providing any proof, which she could have sent. To my iPhoneThe crew did NOT unpack all the boxes, they unpacked approximately 10 boxes and dumped the rest of the 550 boxes in the main floor, basement and garage. The head of the crew, Shawn, asked if we would like them to return another day and finish the unpacking, I did say yes.

Tel:(###) ###-####Email:***@******.***The 3rd party came to re-assemble the pool table and told my husband they cannot as the crew LOST the parts to re-assemble it!Armstrong tells us -- Well they were packed you have to find them and the 3rd party will come back.
They have tried to bribe me with $400 cash back and then $650 plus HST cash back which I did NOT authorize!This company baits clients when they are at their most vulnerable, asking “would you like us to return tomorrow? “Knowing if you say yes, they have you in a position where they are able to charge you more.I do not want money from Armstrong all I want is for them to fulfill their contract and make things right. Unpack the boxes put the beds back together that they took apart, place the lawn furniture on the covered deck instead of tossed in a hep in the garage.
This has taken a toll on our health, I am immune compromised with Spinal Damage 68 yrs old and my husband, Chronic Pulmonary disease with Emphysema, he is 79 yrs old, he is now almost constantly on his CPAP machine, more on than off.Martin Giles <*****@******.***>

Hello Darlene,
Lisa shared the below with me and explained the situation and I wanted to take a moment to connect.
The crew can only unpack to flat surfaces and available areas in the home and given at the time this was very limited they were not able to unpack everything and I understand were directed to place most of the items in the basement. If the home doesn’t allow us to unpack at the time of delivery then this is out of our control and the delivery is complete. Returning to assist when a home is more accessible is considered an additional service.
We understand that you may need to engage in a local service in your area to assist, so we can increase the offer of goodwill for you to $640.00 to allow you to do this.
In regards ***** ***** pool table, the pieces should be in the unpacked items so when these are found, please let Lisa know and she will send around the specialist to complete.
Lisa will process the $640 refund upon your acknowledgement.
