I have black mould...

I have black mould in the trim and under the flooring in both bedrooms in my apartment that I discovered a week ago when it was so hot amd we were have huge downpours of rain. I have been sick for months and it’s affecting my pets as well. The landlord has work scheduled to start July 6 but I cant be in the apartment for any length of time. Symptoms are runny nose sneezing sore throat bad dry cough fatigue no appetite. There is an empty apartment beside me he refuses to let me stay in and will not compensate me for a hotel room. I am a 60 year old woman couch surfing. Landlord said we have no proof it’s black mold and not just mildew but the super was in and cut a piece of baseboard and it’s black. Previous owners were advised of the broken window sills outside and a large crack in the stucco between these windows. I need somewhere to stay till after the works done. What can I do?

Bedrooms doors are closed due to the strong mold smell and I tried just sleeping in my livingroom but it still effects me can’t be in my apartment for more than 20 minutes or I start coughing and throat gets sore. I have had three covid tests and been in antibiotics and I’m no better. When I sleep at someone else house I wake up with a clear head and chest. I have called my dr to get some blood work done but he didn’t really seem to know what test could detect mold spores in a oerson

What you can do to find a lawyer is one of the following things.

You can contact the Lawyer Referral Service. You will be given the name of a lawyer and can consult with the lawyer and the first half hour will be free.

I don't know why I never heard back from you but at this point in time all I can do is suggest how to find a lawyer to retain.
