Good afternoon, I have a complicated issue with my landlord. In October 2019 I signed a lease agreement with the Property Management Company about a house rent. In March 2020 the homeowner decided to terminate his contract with Property Management Company and asked us to sign a new contract with him directly. He convinced us to pay a “security deposit” in amount of $1000 in addition to our previously payed Last Month Rent.The second issue that occurred is: we wanted to add a new roommate to our lease agreement to split our rent payments, as due to covid-19 pandemic we faced with some financial issues.
