Hi - Since I have not heard back from you, I can provide a response based on the information you have provided so far.

If your spouse decides to cancel the sponsorship before it is processed to completion, Canada Immigration will let you know. If this happens, I would suggest that you find an experienced immigration lawyer to help you make submissions based on humanitarian and compassionate grounds that even though the sponsorship was withdrawn , Canada Immigration should still process your permanent resident application because you would face unusual, undeserved or disproportionate hardship if forced to leave Canada and return to your home country. Factors that are considered are your establishment in Canada, hardship if forced to be uprooted, contributions you have made to your community, friends and family here and hardship you have faced due to the breakdown of your marriage.

I would suggest that you also restore your study permit status. Fortunately due to COVID 19, Canada Immigration has extended the usual 90 days to restore temporary status such as work or study permits to August 31, 2021 if you had a valid study permit on or after January 30, 2020 and your permit expired prior to May 31, 2021.
