To get a better overview of the situation. Money is tight, I am not sure he will be able to afford a lawyer, so he may have to represent himself. I have done some research and it seems that if there was some kind of sponsorship in process, they might have a good chance at an appeal. But it's not the case, his income is too low for a sponsorship. If the reason for refusal is that the gov thinks that his parents are trying to live here. They have nothing to offer to show otherwise, they dont have property or even a rental agreement in isreal, they also dont have any family there. I've been following CIC forums and have spoken with a few lawyers about sponsorship, and i've heard that COVID would not be a valid reason for them to appeal. I also heard that if he loses, then they will need to pay fees to the court. If this is the case, I don't want to see him go broke and then ontop of this not be able to afford the plane tickets home or an apartment when they return. He is worried about COVID, but im worried about alot more than COVID.

The last extension was to stay because of covid, this was when covid was first beginning.They have also just used visiting their son in the past.Is it legal to appeal it and stay while it processes? But, also, how expensive would that be? They have no money and my fiancee is about 50-60k in debt.It's the third extension so if it is not approved I fear they will simply try to stay illegally. Well, they sold everything they had before they came here. They thought their sons would sponsor them or something would open up so they could stay permanently. They considered the humanitarian and compassionate method but we were advised by a lawyer that it would be huge waste of money to apply. Since they have each other, and they aren't Palestinian, the gov would not see them as less in need than many others... Also their oldest son decided not to help them financially so it has all been on my fiancee. He's kind of stuck in debt and can't get out cause of the costs to support them. That said... He has a big heart and will probably do anything to prevent sending them back to isreal during covid. Esp since he had allowed them to sell everything they owned. He feels their situation is his fault.Financially they are best off in isreal, they have been on a waiting list for subsidized housing. But they can't see if it's ready cause they have to go in person. It's a really messed up situation. But cause of covid they have locked themselves in the house. They don't grocery shop or anything. My fiancé's does all of their errands to avoid them getting sick.I just dont want to see him slip further. One broken vehicle or furnace.. And he could lose his house and everything. But he does not think logically when it comes to the parents. He would do anything. Even ship them all the way ay to Canada with no plan.

What is the minimum income? We are also in Canada. What would a super visa do. And how much does that cost..It's says online that a super visa must be applied for 'outside' of Canada.I don't think he makes enough.

He does not and I do have a son. I wouldn't be able to sign for his parents though. If anything were to happen to him, I would be responsible for them. They have very little income. And I can't take that responsibility. I have to consider my sons future first.If not for covid they would be staying at a friend's in Israel, waiting for their subsidized housing.
