Landlord is selling the house that I am currently living in.

Landlord is selling the house that I am currently living in. She has been verbally harrassed me saying that I am trying to do everything do diminished the sale of her house in Gatineau. Mainly because a water pipe cracked and water was pouring into the crawlspace. We called an emergency plumber who had to crawl under the house to find an electric baseboard heater under a leaky bathtub. We had to turn off the breakers to the entire house in order for him to fix the leak.

Lawyer's Assistant: What steps have you taken so far? Have you prepared or filed any paperwork?

My problem is the landlord does not want to do any repairs to the property as she just wants it sold. We are afraid for our safety. Apparently there is no shut off valve for the water for the house. We would have to call the city in order for them to turn the water off at the street so repairs can be done. What can we do.
