Can my landlord refuse me parking when he allows another…

Can my landlord refuse me parking when he allows another tenant to park in the driveway? Prior to signing our original lease we were told (verbally) that parking was available. We did not own a car at that time but signed the lease knowing we would eventually purchase a car. Now (3 years later) i would like to buy a car and park in the driveway. The landlord has ... the landlord has said that this is not possible due to space issues, however there is more than enough space. The landlord’s son has moved in to a unit in the building and now parks in the driveway every day.

When we first moved in there were multiple other tenants who parked in the driveway. This only be ace an issue when our landlord moved to the city and started doing renovations in the basement. He has also said that he needs driveway space for when he works on the building, however there is rarely even more than one vehicular parked in the driveway at a time. He drives a small truck/suv.
