Hi, I am an international student in Manitoba, Canada, I am also a content creator/freelancer working on the side and soon I will start shipping physical products to my customers (running an e-store.) What I'm very confused about is the 20-hour/week employment off-campus limit rule for full time international studenrs, does it apply to self-employment as well? Do i Have to conduct business from and on-campus in order to be able to run my business more than 20 hours legally? Can I rent off-campus and work more than 20 hours legally (from home since I run an online business?)Do I need to apply for a sole proprietorship to do what I'm doing for banking and tax purposes or is it an unnecessary step? As a freelancer do I pay the government tax money for my online services-freelancing? Is it the same with shipping physical products to clients? Too many headaches and questions and no information out there, I need your help asap thanks!
