I purchased 3 grilled chicken sandwiches on December 1st…

I purchased 3 grilled chicken sandwiches on December 1st from Harvey’s. We had it delivered from skip the dishes. I began eating mine and hit something hard. I thought it was dry or overcooked bun. I pulled pieces of the bun off and took another bite . I still hit something hard but didn’t see anything so I pulled more of the bun off . I took another bite and this time I was in a lot of pain. I had a stabbing pain at the roof of my mouth and blood. I went to the bathroom and spit out the food. I found a large chicken bone. It chipped my front tooth and cut my tongue. I called Harvey’s immediately and was directed to email the owner with the pictures of the bone. I emailed him right away and included pictures of my chipped tooth and the chicken bone. Bill the owner emailed me back the next day. He apologized and through our email communication he asked for me to bring in the bone. He also said he would pay for the dentist to repair my tooth. I made an emergency appointment with the dentist and asked Bill how he was going to pay. He then said that his third party insurance company would pay for it. I said I needed that information as a dentist isn’t going to do X-rays and fix my tooth without payment or the insurance information. He told me I had to get a quote. I said the dentist is still going to Bill me for that and he could either come there and pay for it or he could call them and give them his credit card. He said no to both. He said for me to pay for the examination and bring the bill to him with the quote for the repair of my tooth. He paid me $160.00 for the examination and said he was sending the quote to his insurance company. That was on December 12. I heard from Grand River Foods who is their distributor and she told me to go have my tooth done and I would receive a check within 2 weeks. I said it’s almost Christmas and I cannot afford $2000.00 right now. She said that she had told Bill to send her the bone by purolator and once she received it she was sending it to their processing company in B.C. She called me again several days before Christmas and said that a man named Andreas would be calling me. He was from grand river foods in BC. He called me on December 24th and left a message, asking me to call him. I did and left several messages to no avail. It has been over 5 weeks since this happened and I have not heard back from any of them. My chipped tooth became loose and half of my front tooth is out. I am in pain all the time with this. I called CARA foods yesterday as Bill had told me at the onset that someone from Cara foods would contact me. No one did. When I called yesterday I stated I was going to contact a lawyer today if I did not hear back from them. As I haven’t heard anything I decided to look online for a lawyer who handled product protection cases.
