VerifiedIf the police are not taking action and you wish to have protection, then you could apply for a peace bond by attending your local courthouse and going to the office of the justice of the peace. There, s/he will give you forms to fill out to lay the peace bond; those forms will then be served on your neighbour, and there will be a hearing sometime later to determine if he should be forced to enter into the peace bond. If successful, the peace bond will be imposed on him and he will be legally prevented from contacting you, generally for a term of up to 12 months.
