My brother in law had cysts around his right kidney, and when he first came to Canada in January, he was diagnosed to have a growing cyst in the mid of last February. But unfortunately the doctor didn't refer him to a CT scan as an emergency case, so his CT scan was scheduled for July. They didn't call for the ST scan, so he called his doctor, and let him know. Eventually, the ST scan was taken in August. After that the specialist said that there is no way to keep the the kidney and they had to remove it completely. They did the surgery and now, my brother in law has only one kidney. However when he came to Canada they could keep the kidney and remove only the cysts. But the delay that was because of the doctor's malpractice, lead to losing a kidney. We have talked to many other doctors before that and they all said there was no need to remove the kidney at that time(February). We want to sue the doctor that his malpractice caused that tragedy to my brother in law. Do you think you can help by following this case? Thanks … read more
