What has the UN to do with this person's request for a vacation?

I don’t understand tjat either. The approval letter came in
the form of sn email. It called me the gentlemsn’s Beneficiary & acquiantance, as such I would have to send funds, $8,600 before they woud issue the vacatoon dates (cont’d).Was instructed to dend the funds the Bank of Nova scotia; Beniciary; Martins o. Edem; account #208180522481.

Swift Code NOSCCATT,
Clearing Code: CC000220818; Province: Saskatchewan; City: Regina. Bank Address:***** Postal Code; S4S3R8. Beneficiary address:***** United Nation Department (UNDLS). Customer Self Service Desk. No signature at Bottom, or in body of letter.
I did call the Bank indicated, spoke with a teller named Karen. She of course could not tell me the name of person who owns the acct., but she verified the numbers associated with the acct., as well as the other information in the message.
I did a white pages lookup, could not verify the name & address of the Beneficiary.
Questions: is this information legitiment? Am I being SCAMMED? Can you help me resolve these issues? Many thanks; Vicki Dangerfield RN.

This is one of multiple internet scams people get contacted about each day.

You are most assuredly without any doubt in the least being scammed.

I am a retired lawyer and I am 100% confident that any money you send will be sent to scammers who will keep asking for more until you finally stop and then they will be gone.

Don't send them any money.

Tjank you Debrs. I do want to kmow if Martin o. Edem is sssocisted with the UN as a representative, or an employee. Also, csn you determine who owns the bank account at the Bank of Nova Scotia? Does Canada try to expose Scammers? Is the Employee named really an employee of the World Dry Dock Company of Dubai? How can we determine if the employee is legitimate, or is also a scammer? I could not verify him, his place of residence, or if he is known to the Pastor Randy Morgan? Finally could the information I have provided to you be used by Canada,s police force to bring these scammers to justice? Surely I am not the only one being targeted. Your assistance is appreciated. Would you please follow up with me in regards ***** ***** final questions? Thank you again.
