The contractor, plumber, hired...

The contractor, plumber, hired by Strata Council to test the water pressure for entire building from my apartment cased the water leakage in my kitchen. This, several days leakage, damaged my property very bad. It passed two weeks and is nothing done except a damage assessment. I'm concerned for my health because mold is growing already after 24 hours. I In my opinion Strata Council should start restoring right away ad all cost should be covered by contractor which they have hired or if contractor is not insured they have covered all restoration costs from their funds.

I'm afraid the will try use Strata Corporation Insurance which does not cover betterments or improvements. In my opinion this is not Strata Corporation Insurance area.

This email I have send to the Strata Agent:
"As you are aware there was a water leak in my unit for several days after the plumber’s job in my kitchen on Wednesday March 27, 2019 – for the purpose of water pressure measurement in the building on behalf of CLASSICO Building Management. The leak was from the faulty assembly of the water pipe connection by the plumber. In The result of that was that my property got extensive water damage. Almost TWO WEEKS have already passed and there was nothing done to prevent the growing of the mold in my bedroom and living room. A very strong smell of mold is everywhere in my suite. Because of my health concern please find a practical solution to fix the problem as soon as possible and please respond to this letter immediately. Any further delay will deteriorate the current situation."

That letter is excellent. If you don't get a response in a court of days I suggest you send a more formal letter by Registered Mail to the Strata Council threatening a lawsuit.
