As you may recall I bought a lazyboy couch and after 13 months - the one seat cushion is quite compressed vs the other side which isnt sat on.
The furniture store out of Guelph has offered to put in new cushions and firm it up on the side thats worn down. They trying to cover it under 12 months 1 year warranty and post date the delivery date when I received the product. I reported it 13 months after I bought the item
Anyhow, its been about 5 weeks since I reported it and the cushions havent arrived yet.
I imagine they have an intent of doing it.
However thinking more about it - even if they replace the one side - the other 2 parts of the couch would be prone to sink with time if they are sat upon.
So at this point with time passage, I am going to write a letter - give me a new couch or money back. In either case - this will sour relations.
If I take them to court, I dont know how much this 1 year warranty has on the judges stance.
I think that is for something of more obvious defect than a cushion losing resiliency.
I only have first names of the individuals dealt with.
How can I complete a corporation search on a medium sized furniture retailer - at no cost hopefully. Thanks
