We bought a new Monterey boat. Before delivery the engine blew up so they replaced the engine. We wanted to use the boat for my sons wedding. This was 2016 May. The new boat was delivered with a hole in it. In 2 seasons the covers have leaked so we have mould. All clear paint and coloured paint has cracked. The clocks were cracked. Monterey say the covers are dust covers. The dealership maintain they are water resistant covers. We we also told that we could not talk about a certain issue that they are repairing. It is a fault on 2015 + boats. They want to deal with it as people complain. They are respraying and repairing the boat using Ontario bodywork shops. Our carpet molded and has been changed for a colour we do not want. There is so much more including bleaching the mould on the seats. We asked for a full refunded exchange rate and inflation linked, or a new boat. We also asked them to take the boat to the Monterey workshops in Florida to be repaired. Monterey refused. The boat has been put back together and painted not by Monterey. A family owned business, we paid $75,000 in full cash. We are supposed to be experiencing supreme customer service as we are now part of the Monterey Family. Well we have emailed the whole story to Robert Pita, President, Charles and Jeff Marshall. We have heard nothing in 2 months despite calling the office and begging the secretary to get one of them to call us and do the right thing. We could go public with the information they want us to keep quiet about. It would cost them hundreds of thousands. We don’t No what to do as we are in Ontario. We bought the boat with my inheritance money. My parents worked extremely hard for their money. We feel that the boat is not a Monterey built boat and want our money or a new boat. We don’t want to be ignored any more. We nay fly down and just protest and attract attention at the office. We are beyond mad. Can you help or make a suggestion. The day the boat was delivered the alarm system went off. We asked for a refund then. Regards ***** *****

We have emailed the executives a detailed letter of the horrors we have gone through because the boat was substandard. We have asked for a replacement for 2 years. More and more things went wrong. Then we were told to keep quiet. They will not speak to us now. They think as we are not millionaires we will not do anything
