That is a lot of money and beyond the monetary jurisdiction of the Small Claims Court.

For this reason you will have to sue in superior court and will need a lawyer to represent you.

Your first step would be to retain a lawyer to send a demand letter. Once they receive the letter from a lawyer they will likely you pay you what you are owed and allow you to retrieve your equipment. Frankly they would be foolish to allow this to proceed to court. But, if they don't comply with the demand letter then you would sue them and would succeed.

You cannot add late interest until the time passes for them to pay you and the invoice is late.

And you cannot make up an interest rate. You have to charge what was agreed upon.

They invoices do not have to be paid earlier because you don't work there any more.

If you cannot sign the time sheets it is their fault and they should be respected unsigned.
