My father passed away a month today and my mother is the sole beneficiary which is ok with me, however, I believe my father's will controls my mother's will. I was not invited to the reading but my sister was allowed to to explain any questions my mom may have as my mom does not drive and cannot read properly. As a sibling do I have a right to see his will and hers because my sister is the executor of my moms will and is taking opportunity to see everything guised as simply helping my mom. My sister is doing everything possible to push me out, create animosity between my mom and as she and I are sole beneficiaries of my moms will. They both refused to give me a copy of the death certificate and read the will let alone provide a copy to me. … read more

My sister my brother and I were all POA's for my mother when she was deemed incompetent. It was at that time we found out that my brother had not made payments to my mom who held the mortgage on the family farm for over 25 years. My sister and I launched a lawsuit to have my brother pay the money out mom, but at that time he came up with a note saying mom had forgiven the mortgage. My sister and I feel the note was fraudulent but did not have the money to take him to court. Mom has since died and in her Will she has left the farm and farm debt to my brother. The lawsuit we launched is still active. Does mom's will "trump" any further action we could take to recover the mortgage money owed to my mom's estate … read more
