I am a 60 yr old middle management employee currently

Customer Question

I am a 60 yr old middle management employee currently employed with my current employer for almost 8 years. I did sign an employment contract when I started stipulating a 1 year severance pay if terminated without cause. If I were terminated now would I be entitled to argue for more than what my contract indicates

Thanks for your question.

Just to clarify, because I cannot read the contract, are you saying if you were dismissed you would get one full year's pay?
