Are you asking about how to bury your father without going through a funeral home at all?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I would like to be cremated which probably would involve a funeral home but I want a private celebration
of life, I would like to know about the paper work involved and what the laws are when someone dies of
natural causes or a non suspicious death as to the autopsy and burial etc For instance if I die in the
hospital of old age can my next of kin take the body and cremate it without using a funeral home.
Expert:  Debra replied 1 year ago.

That is not possible. No one without a licence can transport a dead body.

But there are many cremations service providers who do not charge very much at all. In fact, I just did a quick search for you and many charge $800 rather than $8000.

Does that answer your question?
