I understand. You can make a run at getting the separation agreement thrown out but it will not be guaranteed because you had legal counsel at the time. Having said that, this is a pretty good duress argument.

As well, you have the argument that since he didn't follow through with the payments as agreed that the contract is fundamentally breached. You accepted less than you should have, on no financial disclosure, on his promise to make payments that he didn't make.

You'll need to see a lawyer for this, and obviously not the same lawyer you used for the separation agreement. That would be a conflict of interest for that lawyer.

You don't need your trustee's permission but you will need co-operation, and if other terms of the contract affect the recovery of creditors then this gets complicated. Remember that the trustee is paid by you and is paid to get the bankruptcy processed as quickly and cleanly as possible, but the trustee also has an obligation to the court and to the creditors too.

I know you want to do this self-represented but I don't recommend it. At the very least, have a lawyer's office prepare the documents for you and lay out the evidence and arguments clearly for you, then see where it goes from there.
