I think you've answered your own question here. You were under a court order not to drink and you did. You've been charged.

That's not entrapment. An entrapment would be if an officer in the bar urged you to drink when you didn't want to.

Police are allowed to hang out in a parking lot next to a bar. They do it all the time. Most times they are looking for people who appear to have been drinking to intoxication, but they can pull over anyone they like to check ID and for a smell of alcohol. It could be that they ran your plate and knew that you were under the recog and were waiting for you. They do that all the time too.

So do your fingerprinting and go to court and get your disclosure. It's possible that the arrest or demand to blow was mishandled and this can be thrown out. That happens all the time too.

I appreciate that, and the very low reading might be something you can appeal to the judge with. It's not like you got knowingly bombed. But it was still a breach. A small breach is still a breach.

I don't know if you'll go to jail, it depends on your criminal record and what you're charged with leading to the recognizance.

Are you sure you have the right court date? If you went on the wrong date then there will be a warrant out for your arrest for "failure to appear". You should go to court first thing in the morning and find out what your next date is. If you're going to be charged with a failure to appear, try to explain your mistake. If they don't want to release you without a bail hearing, then you're there and can most likely be processed that day rather than spending a night in jail. Have a surety liined up, or even better bring him or her with you.

Then you can do nothing if you choose. But there might be a warrant for your arrest, and this breach charge isn't going away just because there was a mistake about court dates.

They could have entered the wrong date in the system, so maybe they think that your court date is a different one.

You have to find out. If you don't, then your case will be on the docket for another date and you'll miss it and then there will be a warrant.
