I have a friend I lent money to a large amout of money in cash and she wont give it back and is past the date we agreed on. since it was in cash I don't have proof of giving her the money but I have a text admitting to oweing the money and promising to pay it on the date and she didn't . can I take her to court and get the money and will I get the money back?

Did she very specifically admit what she owed you?

When did you get that text from her?

I assume there's no written contract or promissory note regarding the debt?
