I am not able to speak on the phone with you. The rules of the Law Society in Ontario prohibit me from speaking on the phone to you because you are not my client.

I can explain that. But, what you also want to know was how to get him out of the house.

In Ontario common-law spouses do not have property rights. The only time he claim any interest your home is if hecontributed to its value. He simply did not. So he is not entitled to any interest in your home whatsoever, so the answer is what he is entitled to is zero.

In fact, in Ontario common-law spouses do not have matrimonial homes. So legally he has no right to remain in the home from the moment you tell him to get out.

Unfortunately, the police often do not understand the law and will not assist you in removing him from the home. As well, if you change the locks you may find that the police, misunderstanding the law, will tell you you cannot change the locks and the must let him in.

So if he will not get out one way to get him out is to get a court order. However, there is another way to get him out. When a spouse assaults another spouse and the police are called the spouse is charged with assault. At the same time the spouse is placed under a restraining order. This would mean that your spouse would no longer be able to come into your home or go near you. That is the way a victim of abuse gets the other spouse out of the house without having to go to court to get a court order.

I have no idea why you were charged three times. That is not at all how the site works. It doesn't matter how senior I am and I certainly only got paid once.

I suggest that you contact customer service and asked about these additional charges.
