Are you saying he applied for CPP disability benefits?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
He tried but was denied because of his age he was told
Expert:  Debra replied 2 years ago.
That doesn't make sense. How old is he?And is he clearly not able to work at all right now?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
He is 63 not before surgery he can't work
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
They took his driver licence away because of heart condition
Expert:  Debra replied 2 years ago.
At 63 he is eligible for either disability benefits or an early retirement pension. He cannot have both. He is entitled to disability benefits if he has a severe and prolonged medical condition that prevents him from working. So if he was denied he should appeal but if he didn't actually apply but just called to speak about this he should simply apply now. There is no basis for denying him these benefits based on his age.
