If I have signed a contract to sell my house and have had the subjects removed and through a mental panic due to a death in the family and now I don't want to sell because of a panic I feel ...can I get out of the contract

No you cannot. Once the conditions are moved the contract is firm and binding.
If you don't go ahead you can be sued to compel you to adhere to the terms of the contract and / or for damages.
You can try and make a deal with the buyer. But this is all up to the buyer.
