Customer Question

I am a PR of Canada. I landed on July 2nd 2010. My PR Card will expire on August 12, 2015 (which may indicate that the card was issued on August 12, 2010). On the PR Renewal application, there is a question about the date I became a PR of Canada. Is this
the date I landed, July 2nd 2010. Regards ***** *****

Yes it is the day you landed. You had been approved before and when you enter Canada you are granted your PR status. The card is proof of the status but doesn't determine when you became a PR.
