I purchased a horse at a sale and I don't want to keep him.

Customer Question

I purchased a horse at a sale and I don't want to keep him. Can I change my mind and how long after the sale can I do so?

There is no cooling off period for buying horses at a sale.So whether you can change your mind or not depends on the contract/agreement or Terms of Service of the sale. If you were told that you had a certain amount of time to change your mind or that if you changed your mind you would just have to pay some penalty then you may be OK. But otherwise that contract is final and binding and the only way you can get out of it is if the seller agrees.I am sorry this is not the answer you were hoping to hear.
