VerifiedIf the notice has been hiked with the court them you are officially self-representing on the court's eyes. This means there is no lawyer on record anymore.

The lawyer on record up until was whomever put his/ her name on the original court papers.
But the junior lawyer was acting even if he was not on record once he left the firm with your file. So you would pay him work done since then and you would sue him if he were negligent.

He should have done all of that . But that doesn't mean that the main firm is acting . If they told him he could take the file as he was your main lawyer then they decided not to act any more.
