There were two other persons who were present (M r. Lawrence Lee, one of the salesmen at London Honda, and my wife ) at the time when Mr. Peter Park who we wish to sue for slander and the company he represents. I believe, as I stated clearly in my letter (addressed to Mr. Johnstone, the Director of Operations at London Honda), that I have been the victim (along with my wife) of Mr. Park's slanderous and contemptuous remarks which we did not deserve to swallow.

Probably not so much about the damage to my own reputation ( I am only a retired university now), but the psychological trauma inflicted on me ( and on my wife) by Mr. Park in the presence of another person (Mr. Lawrence Lee) was more than I can easily endure. In addition, the fact that Mr. Park trampled upon our strong sense of honor and integrity added more anguish than we can tolerate. So, instead of damage to my reputation, how about the damage to my (and my wife's) own psychological well-being?

I also think this slander case against Mr. Park can be lodged against Mr. Park on the ground that I suffered a loss of reputation (as a former professor at a local university) in the presence of Mr. Lee who not only knew that I was a professor, but also have a mutual friend.

Mr. Lee is an employee of London Honda. I also consider he is my friend with whom we share a mutual friend.

I talked to him over the phone after this May Ist Incident, He told me then that "I did not like the way he (Mr. Park) treated you in his office." He said he does not like his approach in dealing wit the customers like that." What I know, as well as Mr. Lee that Mr. Park humiliated me in front of him, as well as damaged my reputation and integrity as a university professor.

What I don't know is whether or not Mr. Lee would testify on my behalf against his own colleague ( immediate superior?). I am afraid he would nnot do so, given the fact that he would have to put his job on the line.
