You would not normally be entitled to any notice or pay in lieu of notice within the first three months of this new contract.

But, they told that you were going to be paid this money and you left because you were told you would be paid.

So there is a binding agreement.

And you can sue them for this week's pay because the employer cannot enter into a binding agreement and then simply decide not to adhere to it.

You can send the employer a letter and provide the employer a deadline for paying you.

Indicate that if you are not paid you will commence legal proceedings and then will be seeking interest and your costs.

You can sue in Small Claims Court and can self-represent.
