VerifiedLaw.Hut : So you never paid back H and R Block? I am not sure I understand what it is that you're asking? If you took money from H&R Block and then were double paid when CRA sent money to you instead of to them, why are you surprised that they have sent the matter to collections?

Because H&R Block collect from CRA following the submission of any Cash Back Return. In this case they evidently did not provide CRA with all the receipts, especially the cash back one.
