Indirect contact would be where contact occurs through a middleman, such as having someone pass on a message for you to the person.
If there is a non contact order in place, it would prevent the person from going on a bus likely if they know that the other person is present. It would not prevent walking down a street, although the person would have to take steps to avoid the other if they happen upon them, such as going to the other side of the street or a different direction.

If he is not speaking with or walking with other children, then there would be no contact. I can't imagine that he is prevented from walking down a street. He can wait until others have cleared away from the bus stop or make sure he is keeping distance from others that may be using the sidewalk at the time. Indirect contact still requires that some contact take place and simply being on the same block as someone is not having contact with that person.
