I have not attended court for this matter. Does my mother have to answer the questions truthfully Is she under oath at the pretrial? My mother did not put me on title for estate planning. I was to be left the property upon my mothers passing so said my father and mother, and my siblings were aware of this. I approached my mother after I had proposed to my now wife and stated to her that my fiance had asked me what I had to bring to the table. I explained to my mother my wife's request and my mother agreed without hesitation,because she wanted me to be happy. and this is one of the main reasons. My mother has purchased many properties with my father and still has one other parcel of land. she understands the legalities of estate law especially after my father passing, and is fully aware of implications of her actions. It don't understand how my mother can change her mind in light of this. I still care for my mother and see her regularly. When I received her statement from her lawyer she said to throw it in the garbage or just leave it with her.

Yes,I was served with legal documents i.e. affidavits from my mother and my siblings I spoke to my mother's lawyer and sent him a statement outlining what happened and my position. three weeks ago there was a conference between my lawyer and my mother's lawyer. There is a pretrial scheduled for the end of March.

Not that I know of. The lawyer that was looking after my case stated that he could not release any files that he had pertaining to my case with the exception of the files that I had provided to him. Is this true?

So, I am supposed to say goodbye to my inheritance and all the turmoil that this has cost me emotionally and financially. and effectively have let my mother use me for the past 35 yrs. with the promises that she and my father made to me not to mention my wife.

So,

last time I spoke with you, almost a year ago, you advised me to keep visiting my mother and make notes etc and do nothing. You must know by now that my mother has two sides to her character and she likes to win all the time. She is not always the sweet loving mom that most of us hope for. She has purchased several properties with my father over the years and can be a very very hard nosed and ruthless business women. (Ican give you examples if you like.) I think the judge should know that don't you?
