VerifiedThere is no doubt that you are being avoided.
The dealer did not sell you what you agreed to purchase.
So there is no doubt that they cannot hold you to the package that is different from what you agreed to buy.
But it's not so clear that you can get out of the original deal which you did agree to.
So if they come back and offer you the same package they originally offered that you accepted I think you will be stuck with the deal.
On the other hand if you approach this aggressively you may be able to get them to decide it's best to just let you go.
So I think you should see a lawyer at the beginning of this week and have the lawyer send a letter to the dealer.
The lawyer can say that the financial representative agreed to put the deal on hold, the deal is not what you agreed to and the dealer is not ignoring you so you have no choice but to provide the dealer with a deadline for refunding the money and confirming the deal is off or you will commence legal proceedings.
You can contact the Law Society and use their Lawyer Referral Service. You will be given the name of a lawyer and can consult with the lawyer and the first half hour will be free.
