about your current parentigHello: the counsellor is absolutely not entitled to release any information to your husband without your consent, and you may want to send a letter to the counsellor making it clear that you not consent. your husband can try to subpoena the counsellor to come to court and disclose records. a court has discretion to refuse the admission of such evidence, on the basis that it is important to have confidentiality in dealong with a counsellor. so even with a subpoena it is not automatic that a court would receive and consider such evidence. and even if it did, it sounds as though this evidence would be of little consequence anyway given that it is from long ago and may tell the judge very little about your current parenting ability. and your husband trying to throw mud at you may backfire on him if he wants 50 50 time, as a judge will only order that if there is evidence that the two of you can cooperate to the extent necessary to make such shared parenting work.
