Please tell me if I have a case for wrongful dismissal.

I work for the canadian provincial government (PHSA). Previously I worked for a private radiologist doing mobile mammography in rural areas. We were taken over by the government and the program changed dramatically. The new manager is 30 years load and very inexperienced (her first job) There are 8 technologist doing the same thing. In October i was summoned to an online conference call for misdemeanours that were not correct, leaving work early for my own gain (not true) chargin corporate credit card twice for 12 Km gas milage (still don't know how that happened, a pure error on the form. I requested an hour off in Dec. to fly to Bali as my connecting flight to HOng Kong was too tight. All true i made the booking but I did not expect not to get an hour off. To get the hour off I sent an email to the manager showing how I could cover my client load at the end of the day during my lunch hour. the rearranged schedule was sited as a breach of confidentiality since there were patients names and medical #. (I copied and pasted from the original schedule sent to us) I contended that there was not breach since all of us have access to this information inside the organization, we all signed the same confidentiality form for the organization of hiring. This dispute has never been resolved but a grievance has been filed with the union. I was again summoned in january for charges on the corporate card that they said were excessive. I explained that there was a Canucks final hockey game on and that they had removed corporate rates thus charging me full fare. they stated i did not request corporate rates and billed the company excessively. At these summonings there were 4 people on their side and i was there with a union rep. I was shattered by the accusations and more shattered that they did not hear what we were saying. I started to get very nervous at work and felt threatened even to open an email. the more fear filled i became the more mistakes at work I started to make. Little mistakes, but they resulted in having to recall a client for an additional x-ray. Mistakes like putting a film in upside down, double exposures.
the manager became aggressive and bullying. Yelling and shouting and threatening the loss of my job. Slowly i became terrified to go to work, my error rate increased with my fear. I was summoned again. Accusation were made accumulatively for unresolved past items and I was suspended from work for 2 days without pay. The manager was bullying and mean. I asked to see my errors, to help me review my films and I was told no. At the end of this week I was told by the union rep that they were going to dismiss me since they found more errors, she suggested to take stress leave and regroup. I did so 6 weeks, my doctor stated that i was under huge stress and that i had burnout. (I take care of my aging mother who has Parkinsons for two weeks and then I work for PHSAS for two weeks 10 hours a day for 6 days straight with sun off, return home and start the cycle again. I am 64 years old and close to retirement, this was my last job, I had hoped.)

I asked again to see my work and was told twice No. I offered to stay on my own time to go in and review their complaints but they said no. I started work for two weeks two weeks ago. They said if there was any errors during this time that they would dismiss me. Once I ws told by the manager that my positioning of the exams was not faulty but the handling of such was, i was renewed. I knew i could cross my t's and dot my I's as long as my professional work was ok.

I just completed my two weeks of work and now await a conference call on July 13 to see if they are going to dismiss me or keep me.

I opened my personal email 2 days ago and saw an add for my job. I ws shattered. All of my colleagues are in a buzz wondering what happened and who quit. no one has contacted me. By the process of elimination there is only one answer, they have dismissed me and have already started seeking a replacement.

The new manager on arriving was overheard saying"first thing i will do is get rid of all the old dead wood" I am the oldest. slowly the eroding of my self confidence has created a fear filled employee. I feel battered and bruised and humiliated. All of my colleagues are away of them harassing me slowly over time, one colleague in particular who dislikes me feeds them with false info about me and stirs things up. The manager and her are close as she has become the onsite spy.

I am wondering if I have a case for wrongful dismissal and what kind of payout would i get in return. I am not seeking to return to work. Their position is that i am causing patients to be double exposed to radiation and that they are justified in dismissing me. They create the problem and now this is their solution. Its been hell all these months and I would like some compensation
