My husband has been in canada 12 years now. When he turned 65 he was only in canada 3 years. we requested pension for him. I feel we were misinformed. They told me he would get a full pension when he is no longer working. He has been working up to now age 74. We requested pension for him and they said they cannot change the date he started. We would not have taken out the pension then if we knew he would be only eligible for a small amount. cpp 120, per month and OA 45. Now we need the full pension to live. They suggested Guaranteed income supplement but that does not amount to the full pension everyone else is getting. can you please help. thank you, ***** *****: Have you talked to a lawyer about this?… read more
