Beneficiaries in another Country are questioning their $$

I am the Executor of a Will and have been asked by the beneficiaries who are in another country (Brasil) to provide them with information "for their bank" for the banks "Inventory Records" for income tax purposes otherwise their accounts won't be credited. I have no idea what this last sentence means or why their banks are even involved with taxes...? The beneficiaries wanted to know: 1. the final amount the property was sold for, 2. the breakdown of their first payment in CDN funds (each beneficiary recently received an equal payment) in US funds as that is the currency in Brasil, 3. less the fees (I am assuming it was all Estate fees etc., because yes, they were all taken off the sale of the property), 4. and how much the balance they all will be receiving (once the Clearance Certificate has been completed). So, I provided this information they wanted (did not break these down into detail), though I do question why their bank needs to know the amount the property was sold and the amount all the fees were? I'm thinking they are trying to see if I am ripping them off... but I'm not sure. :( Is it required by law for citizens of Brasil to claim all of this to their banks (for 'income tax purposes')? 2nd question (it's okay to charge me too for this)... - What if they are unhappy with what the total fees were? It's almost half of what they have currently received (total) but it couldn't be helped. :( I went through A LOT of stress these past 17 months doing this estate work and now I feel I'm going to be put through the ringer with people from another country I haven't even met. Shouldn't they just be thankful they are getting free money and a lot at that (almost $55,000.00 CDN each?!). :( - Do you think they'll come after me and try to sue me? I am very very stressed out about this. :(
