It is on behalf of my daughter who is presently in Europe.

It is on behalf of my daughter who is presently in Europe. She worked for a prominent company in Canada until 24.8. 2011. Her last pay day was 19.8.2011. In early Oct. she got a letter from her previous employer that she owes them money for the period until 3.9.2011. Since we have a joint account we ascertain that as a matter of fact she was not even reimbursed for the period from 19-24.8. 2011. They claim that she owes them for the period  24.8-3-9.2011, because her supervisor submitted late her hours, however, there is no proof nor any documentation that our daughter received. Our daughter sent to us an attachment of her letter addressed to her employer explaining above and that they send her their proof of their stated claim. This letter was sent to them via registered mail. Unfortunately, no explanation followed after that to that effect. Now her case was submitted to Metropolitan Credit Adjusters, Ltd. Was her employer not obliged at least acknowledge a receipt of that letter if not even admit that there is an error on their behalf. The amount in question is not big, however, the matter is that they did not fulfill obligation on their part. What should she do now? Biserka (London, On)
