Sometimes lawyers can do a better job but for this matter if you cannot afford a lawyer it will likely be OK.

The main thing you and your girlfriend need to understand is that she will have to show strong ties to China.

If the immigration officer in charge either in terms of her visa application or at the border decides she is likely to try and stay in Canada she will not be allowed in.

So she should have proof of a job, a home (deed or lease), a family, ties to the community, and for sure a return ticket.

paying for lawyers is not a problem. I just want to know the best ways to do it with the greatest amount of success. I'm a businessman I know a lot of people and I am highly respected for my honesty and integrity. I can get a lot of very powerful businesspeople and some politicians to help if necessary however I don't wish to create more problems. I just heard that the system is very difficult almost unfair. If it is a fair system I will follow the system. My older brother adopted three children he tried to adopt two little girls a couple years earlier and the system prevented him and his wife from doing so. The results were when the community he lives in found out, out rage. Two years later they had no difficulty adopting three little children all at once. My nephew has since adopted a little girl. four children who will now have wonderful.I'm just looking for the same things my brother and sister have. Now I have found the most important part a good woman to love and be loved by. If people such as my brother and sister and myself never have families where will this world be. A visitor's visa is not a complicated matter.

As I said the only hard issue is proving she has strong ties back home.
