Hi, My name isXXXXX'm 29 years old and I currently live in the state of New Jersey USA. Im not sure what a removal order is, but Im going to tell you my story. I came to the USA in 2006 as an au pair under the J-1 Exchange Visitor Visa, after my au pair year ended (in 2007) I decided to apply for a change of status to get the Student Visa, the F-1. After a few months I got a letter from the Immigration and found out my change of status request was denied. That was in 2007. But I didn't leave, I stayed and went to College to study Social Sciences, and right now I'm looking at the University in Saskatoon in Canada to continue my studies in Psychology. So, Im trying to find out what are the chances that I enter Canada legally to study, work and live. Would the fact that I was an undocumented student in the US impair my chances of entering Canada? I have a clean criminal background here in the US and also in my homecountry. (Brazil) I was also never involved with the immigration police. In New Jersey I have worked as a Nanny for several families that would provide Reference Letter. I also have Recommendation Letters from my College Professors, if that would be necessary.
