My was suffering form neuro problem because of previous accident.

My was suffering form neuro problem because of previous accident. But he recovered a lot but the cognitive function impairment. After a few years, he had a mild seizure with a slight bleeding in lleft side. After a few days in hospital he recovered again but still having cognitive function problem. At this point, he was taken to the rehab unit of the same hospital for exercises. In the new room, having posted 'One person assistance" and keeping bed rail down, rehab unit team left him alone i.e. without any 'Sitter' or unattended.

After some time he was found on the floor unconscous. They did CT scan and found new bleeding in right, left and frontal brain, and referred to another hospital. From then he was in hospital for more than six months, and hospital was planning to refer him to the long term nursing home. But I prefered to bring him home for his mental health. He is not able to communicate with anybody, only with the beloved family members. So I took him home.

As a result of this medical negligence and malpractice,
i. can't walk by himself and can not understand even our languages.
ii. I cant do an professional job. (I was working in developing organizations as project consultant for long time). I was getting preparation to obtain a professional job. I can't leave him alone at home. I don't have enough money to keep a caregiver.

In these situation,
i. can I claim the compensation?
ii. how much shoul I claim?
iii. can I have solicitor on 'conditional fee agreements?
