I have been buying Simply Delicious Juice for the past couple of years now on a weekly basis.Recently they came out with a product 50 calories less Orange Juice. One thing I did notice was that the shape of the bottle seemed to be swollen and round compared to the usual rectangular shape,but taking a closer look at all the 50 calorie off OJ which there were at least 20-30 of they were all the same roundish swollen shape,so I just thought that it was just new packaging for this particular product and purchased it.Later that night for dinner I wanted a glass of juice.I usually have my dinner in the living room where there is a coffee table and my couch. I brought over the juice from the fridge and sat down. Next I shook the juice quite well as written on the label, I took off the cap and then tried to pull off the inner sealant but as soon as I pulled it which I barely did it exploded like a bottle of champange spraying juice as high as my ceiling . The juice went everywhere, on my floor,all over myself and all over my couch.When it exploded I leaned back just a natural reaction to something exploding unfortunately I was on my couch which is made of cloth which soaked up most of the juice. My floors ,my clothes ,the coffee table and my ceiling I was able to clean with out much problem though it did take me quite a bit of time to do so.The problem is the couch it does not have removable cushions so all I could do was wipe what was on top, majority of the juice had soaked in.After I was curious to know why the juice had exploded so I checked the label for carbonation which I already knew would'nt be there but just to make sure.
